Crafty at Christmas

In the spirit of the Holidays, we hosted a Yankee Swap last night (thank you Carlson family for the inspiration), and feeling Martha Stewart-esque, I decided to decorate. Glenn had bought a tree, so we headed out to pick up some baubles for our little tree. I got pretty crafty pre-party. Here’s some pics of our holiday efforts…

Pine Cone ornaments a la New England.

We bought some small gold candles as well and I spruced them up: simple jars (Old El Paso Guacamole, to be specific) with some gold ribbon around the rim made lovely candle holders (and were really cheap).

Pretty!

Creative wrapping paper for my Laduree macarons: a metro map! I just wrapped the macaron box in a metro map and tied the ends in two colors of ribbon, then curled. Simple, easy, and cheap.

Laduree gets a makeover.
